4 seconds into the video and you are telling (not asking) people to subscribe. They haven’t watched any content and you are telling people to subscribe. Why? Shouldn’t you be ASKING (not telling) for people to subscribe at the END of the video? After they’ve actually watched some of your content! Do you ever subscribe to a channel without watching any of their content? No you don’t. It’s 2024… that crap is so annoying.

Donna here, you are describing me to a T! Six years ago I lost my son (5 days before his 25th birthday) to cancer. One month and 10 days later I lost my mom to cancer. To this day I cannot listen to certain songs. I still cry in the shower because I had to rush home, shower and rush back to the hospital. They were both diagnosed in Feb, my son passed in April and my mom passed on Mother's Day that year. I understand completely when you say you don't want to be bothered. I know its hard, but you have to get better for your family. Your kids need you, that's what kept me from biting people's heads off, or going into a deep depression. Please take care of yourself and your family, and we will be here when (if) you decide to continue.

Hi…I’m gonna try some of my hydrangeas in pots. I bought a few low growing ones this year. I have a question - I loved how you broke apart the hydrangeas into 3s. I have several big leaf hydrangeas in the ground that are very overgrown. They are blooming like crazy right now. After they finish blooming, can I take part of them to make a few other plants - using your same technique? I like trying things out in containers and placing them in different spots - even to test how they do there. I have a few other big leaf ones that are not flowering a lot. I’d like to give them the Flower Girl to see if it helps. I’d like to thin these out too. Any suggestions welcome! Great video…love your kids in the video too! Real world!

Thanks, I've been trying to figure out why 1/4 of my big leaf hydrangeas is not blooming, though I didn't prune it. It might be not enough sun, but will check the soil for phosphorus before moving. Wish I could find the tag for it, only bought last year. Great videos and cute kids!

Ah yesss!!! Im OBSESSED with hydrangeas too!!!! I have 7 Macrophylla, 4 panicle, 1 oakleaf and 3 arborescence & I need more!! Lol! I’m so glad I watched this video because now when I go shopping for more Macrophylla hydrangeas I’ll look into the dirt to see how many plugs are in the pot. I live in a zone 5 in Canada and I have 4 in pots that I made out of 2 big barrels that I cut in half, I did exactly what you said and I put them in my garage on block pallets to lift them off the cold concrete and they make it through the winters beautifully. They are humongous now and have tons and tons of flowers, I fertilise with Bone Meal only and I use a water soluble bloom booster(0-45-50) when I see the buds emerging. I love your content and I hope to see more wonderful videos filled with your knowledge about hydrangeas!

Absolutely beautiful! What zone r u in ? I’m in zone 8-9a central Texas and our heat & sun scorch and kill many plants I do have five 30 yrs old oak trees that make a giant umbrella in my back yard that o was think about planting hydrangeas there’s spots that get some sun peaking through. I went to tractor supply about a month ago and purchased a Bee happy panicle hydrangea and I put it in full sun just keeped it well watered and after a month I’ve not seen any damage to it still has buds and flowers so I went back to get two more but I want more specially the ones that get color pink. Which ones would you recommend for me to try? Again thank you I’m sooo impressedwith your lovely yard

this was very helpful. most of the videos I came across was talking about the burnt leaves (which I also have) but my petals also burnt up to. the nursery garden seller told me to put them in full sun (or at least he told me that's what would make the color pop) so 3 weeks after having them they went from healthy to brown and brittle. I watered every other day, but they are not in the ground yet, if that makes a difference? I can tell they have some life left in them because the leaves and bottom stems are green. I thought it was possible to remove the bad parts, but didn't know how until you explained it. I do see buds coming up along the bottom parts of the stems. They are still in the original pots, so now I know to put them or plant them in a shadier or partial sun area. why oh why did that man tell me to put them in the sun???
